Best 3B we've had in a long long time. I can remember when not long ago 3B was a huge concern for us year after year.

He's still not great in the field, 10 errors on the year, but this is also his first year at 3B as well so he'll get better. The bat is incredible. He's a top 10 pick next year IMO.

Looking it up Steve Gendron was 2nd team All SEC and Pete Young was All SEC Utility.

Maybe Ace Reece is the first All SEC 1st Team 3B I can even remember.

Had MSU kept Mershon and Jordan, there would be 3 field players as 1st Team All SEC in 2025

How are Mershon and Jordan doing this year in the Minors and those long bus rides!

They would be heading to #1 and #3 round picks had they stayed in Maroon.

Travis Chapman was first team all sec. I didn?t realize he is a defensive specialist for the Yankees now.

Adam Piatt was a heck'uva 3 bagger sometime in the mid to late 90's. He had to have been on an All-SEC team. Heck, he was the AAA player of the year and won the AAA triple crown in the late 90's, early 2000's before he came down with spinal meningitis. Don't think his career was ever the same after that.
