So true Cc24, Lemonis just sat on his bucket way too long. The thing with him…..well I’m gonna let this nuggets like. LOL. No use beating him up as he is gone. Wish him luck and hope he learned a couple of valuable lessons.

So LSU is tampering with our best hitter and it's all sunshine and roses?

Stone Simmons being credited with the win is a funny concept

34 may be correct but it seems strange if it’s a done deal w/o knowing who our next Coach will be. Also no such thing being done with the NIL and portal.

You want some more funny stats.
State line: 25 runs, 23 hits, 4 doubles, 1 triple, EIGHT HRS!!!, BUT 14 (FOURTEEN) Strikeouts! How does that happen? 14 unproductive outs and still scored 25 RUNS! Try striking out 14 times against a GOOD team and see how many runs you produce.😳 Missouri has to be the worst team in the history of SEC baseball! But good grief! The same pitchers who gave up 13 extra base hits including 8 HRs, also struck out 14 batters! Talk about Jekyll & Hyde!!!!

Keep Powell around the program for a few years as "minister of culture".
Our SEC standing for offense will climb after this weekend. Everyone else already had their Mizzou numbers baked in the stats.
Edit: I wonder if Hines now will go on a hitting spree in the tournaments, with this HR thing at least now tied for first. Has to be some weight off his shoulders.

Tampering doesn’t exist anymore
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Would that be the same LSU team that just lost to SCAR tonight? Shorty better watch out for his own post-season because they are hardly the "#1 team in the nation".

That does help for players outside the SEC....and of course have some winning seasons and get in the top 10 a few years in a row

He will also be playing on the road. No reason to not have more professional at bats going forward.

He always struggled to figure out where the pieces of puzzle went. He might figure it out the last 5 weeks of the SEC season. Of course by then we would have multiple unacceptable losses and would be out of the SEC title race and would be hoping for a 2 seed somewhere or a borderline regional host when we should have been a lock to host.
We would go through the first four weeks of the season and we would have pitchers that would have one appearance in some cases. That's the time to figure it out and tinker.

Needless to say- they'll never be the dynasty they once were. Too much parity now in the SEC. A dynasty now would be having 2 National Championships in a five year span.
They'll probably get tired of Jay in about 3-5 years if I had to guess.

I have heard the opposite on Ace Reese but time will tell.

Ace isn?t going anywhere else.

14 K's is 14 outs. It's just an Out
In modern MLB batting getting great swings for max contact is ok. Versus bad pitching, you are looking to murder the ball versus just make soft contact.
If you like Coggin ball, MSU would K about 20% more per game.

I'm kind of surprised about the rumor with us not knowing who the new HC will be. Hard for me to understand why someone knows if true and would release info while the season is still going on. Doesn't sound good for team chemistry but heck we have fans crapping on Msu everyday! Way too much negative from our fans on Msu sports, hey i have been negative on some coaches but never the school or town!

Coach34 is trying to cope with missing Bucket by spreading a rumor. Sour Grapes moment.
"We are losing money on baseball" was last week's rumor. Next week, "Polk is being interviewed for the job."
One of neighbors as a kid used to root for LSU whenever he was mad at MSU. Another dude would wear Bama swag because his mom went to UAB.

It's not a legitimate rumor.
