I think he will help us this year. I think he can give us 8-12 minutes a game off the bench. He is not ready to start though so it was really big we won the Ballard sweepstakes.

Yes he can make money in College but he may be content with the money he has made and stable.
I think those days may be more or less over. The people getting those kind of guarantees from the NBA are also going to do well with NIL in college. They very likely will be able to get the same type of contract if they bank another year of pay from college, so unless they are tired of being in college or are concerned about their stock dropping, no real hurry to leave. Now I guess if somebody with a major question mark, like Hubbard's size, gets a guarantee like that, it might be best to take it to avoid the risk that another year of college convinces them whatever question mark is an achilles heel. But not sure that players with that kind of question mark are going to get that guarantee of a contract.

Good points, and you very well may be right. But for Hubbard he is so limited in certain areas because of his size and coming back to College wont improve him or change anything for him because he pretty much is what he is, so if his dream is to play in the NBA and he gets some sort of nod he may stay in the draft. But again, I expect him back.

Thanks for the info...this young man looks physically like an NFL defensive lineman, except younger looking. Not too many college basketball post players gonna be interested in mixing it up in the paint with this guy.

Hubbard will make a million plus if he stays at State
Hubbard will make 150K overseas
Hubbard will make alot less than that in the D League
He would be an idiot not to come back

Quite a few fans knew that these guys were good coming in but didn't quite know how good they ultimately became. Richard Williams definitely knew regarding D. Jones. Rick Stansbury had a good idea about the potential in the Lawrence Roberts transfer. Still, no doubt that Stansbury was pleasantly surprised how things unfolded. Moultrie was expected to be good but appears to have exceeded the coaching staff 's expectations of his upside.
Top football transfers in Miss. St history... possibly Fred Smoot, Randy Thomas, few others
Derick white-- Horatio--Chuckie Evans

Possibly the best point guard to ever play for Miss. State...true point guard.
Position: Guard

Schools: Old Dominion (Men) and Mississippi State (Men)
2x All-SEC
(Note) 7.6 assists per game and double figure scoring for his career at Miss. State.

Trilly Donovan is saying we are trending for Ven-Allen Lubin. He has been on all our commits so I would say he is pretty reputable.

Got to fill that roster quota of "1 big man who everyone says is 'raw' but could be a player"
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""
