Yeah I?m sure they are bragging to all their buddies about how we could of hosted last season but Lemonis underperformed by losing too many non con games, but hey he salvaged the season by finishing 5th in the SEC with nothing to show for it. Money well spent

Lemon's biggest problem is remaining loyal to players like Idiot, Trout, Downs, Chester...etc. We should have portaled better players onto the rosters this season.

No. His biggest problem is he sucks as a game manager.

It's so bad it's mind blowing. Everyone else in the ballpark can see our pitchers hyperventilating and their command going south. Everyone assumes we're going to take the pitcher out. Lemonis is like "Let's see if we can get one more inning out of the guy." And when it never works then it just kills the pitcher's confidence going forward because they don't think about the 2 innings where they did their job. They think about the last inning where they shouldn't have even been on the mound in the first place and gave up three runs to blow the game.

And it's not just that. How many times has he put defensive replacements in while taking out a guy that is like 3-4 on the day? And then when our bullpen blows it we have to leave it up to our guy hitting below the Mendoza line to be the hero. How many times have we run ourselves out of a big inning unnecessarily?

I don't think it's loyalty- I think it's lack of accountability. Our defensive fundamentals are always bad at the beginning of the year. He never holds Cheese accountable for sending runners home at ridiculous times. And that shit we have seen from Hines where he pretends that he has to be Palmeiro every game- most coaches would have stopped that shit after it happened the first OOC weekend. It's not just one player- it's everyone.

Please post correct information. We made made postseason 2 of the last 4 seasons- finishing in the Top 5 of the SEC last season. We won the Natty 4 seasons ago. Our only one in school history. This season is still ongoing and we do not have the results yet

We have made the NCAA tournament once since 2021. Our SEC record since the natty cant be better than 14th in a 16 team league. The only post season we will make this year is Hoover and that?s bc everyone gets to go. And if by some miracle we make the postseason, no one should be any means be satisfied. If you are you just need to admit this is not a real sport we should invest in and move on anyway. I dont know why you choose to die on the hills you die on, but Lemon Hill and the Yacht club have made you eat so much foot you prolly have athletes teeth

Apples and oranges. All the SEC basketball teams had really good wins out of conference. Outside of USM we have no good wins out of conference in baseball. Thats why the Gov cup loss was such a killer. There are a lot of non-P4 baseball teams with way more quality wins than we have. Last year Florida snuck into the tournament but their RPI was significantly higher than ours currently. Where our RPI ends up will be key even if we get to 13 SEC wins.

Not sure what hill I’m dying on. This season has been disappointing to this point but it’s not over. A win today would be huge and have us back in the field of 64 heading into next weekend vs Kentucky. That is reality right now.

1. You can support Mississippi State and realize that us getting hot and making a run is beneficial for everyone in this situation.

2. You can actively root against Mississippi State.


Look do I think a change is going to be made? Yes. I THINK it. I have no inside knowledge of that other than rumblings here and there. I still think we need to find a way to make the NCAAT. We would be a lot more attractive as a landing spot for a new HC coming off a tournament appearance rather than bottoming out and finishing 9-21 or 10-20

Well this season is yet TBD. So no- cant count it until the season ends and we know the outcome. Same with the NCAA basketball tourney. Get in and make something happen.
