Who's melting down? These guys are just stating the facts.

Ahhh, but these were the series we won to get where we were. If we don't win this series, we won't be at all where we were the previous two years. If we don't make the post season, we won't make any runs and it won't matter.

Its hard to replace 2 guys to the league and 4 contributing pitchers to injury, one of whom is a weekend starter; then, two of your veteran guys go off of the deep end hitting wise and not expect to have huge regression in your program. Success really hurt this team IMO. This isn't our year, but long term we are sitting pretty.

I'm calm. I just think this program is drastically overrated, coasting on last season's goodwill. This is a bad team, no ifs, ands or buts about it.

I mean, I guess anything is a "fact." It's a fact that be could be 7-23 or 22-8 in the conference, 1st or 14th place. But neither of those are likely enough to warrant mentioning.

Mizzou is the worst team we have left on our schedule by far guys. This is the definition of a must win series and we are really screwing around at the plate with a very anemic lineup.

They beat Kentucky 2 of 3 last weekend in Lexington. They aren't a bad team.

I don't see how we're sitting pretty long term. Cohen still seems to be bringing in midget slap hitters.

That's why they are 17-17 and 6-9 in the conference. Yes, they are not a good team.

Really? That "goodwill" was playing for a national championship. Only 2 teams each season get to do that.

Obviously we aren't as good as we hoped, and not as good as #2 in the country, and that's legitimately disappointing, but we're still a top 30 or so team. We aren't going to come in 14th in the SEC, period. People get way too hung up on single baseball games. That's just not how baseball works.

I don't think this can be stated enough.
