Yes, letting people learn to do new jobs appears to be one of the primary tenets of our athletic department

So by "football straightened out", what exactly does that cost? We know what it cost to go 5-7 and 2-10 in back to back years. So by straightened out, do you mean 5-7 on the regular with the occasional 6 or 7 win bowl season? Because the Duffs, and Wades, and other Billionnaire families aren't dropping multiple millions on MSU football. None of our multi-millionaire NFL players are coming to the table either. I wonder why? Didn't we hire a professional fund raiser as AD? Or is his skill getting Average Joe Fan to pony up a $50 a month support the buying of 4 and 5 start athletes? I'd like to know if you don't mind telling us baseball loving fans what has to happen for football to move from dismal to mediocre?

Going 0-8 in football in SEC games and not even being competitive will get us bounced out in the Super conference that may be down the road. The SEC check received each year will not be there if this happens and all sports will suffer. My family's name is not one of those you listed above but we have been loyal supporters of many MSU sports for approximately past 65 years. It's always been tough to be a MSU fan in my favorite sport football, but now baseball has taken a real nose dive on the field since the NC. I don't know all the answers in the age of the NIL and even worse the portal. I just saw we took a commitment from a player in basketball who will have played at 6 different schools after he plays for us. I do know one thing, if we continue to go 2-10 in football and lose more support, there will be no more SEC for us as changes come. How many people want to see us play any sport including baseball if we fall to a lesser conference?

It really is eye opening seeing our fans being in denial about this and just not caring. At the same time though our fan base has overall always been easy to quit quickly. While we don?t have T-shirt fans necessarily, we have a lot of people who just give up and complain. I wish our fans were like USCe. They have had similar ups and downs but they still sell out their stadium in down years and don?t give up on their program

By 2040, there will be no more SEC as we know it. (Just my Opinion) MSU, Mizzou, South Carolina, and Vandy will be the only current SEC schools not invited to the Super Conference. Maybe, Arkansas and Ole Miss not invited either, but hopefully they are.
The 2040 Super Conference with Super NIL. Those schools will make Billions from ESPN, from pillaging Widows of money, and requiring $2,700 per year streaming package. Despite this income, all will be in massive debt to pay players, making new stadiums, travel, administrative overhead, and to fund their parasitical Title-9 sports. They will have $15M quarter backs, $9M point guards, $20M coaches, game tickets will cost $900.00 per game, parking at $120.00 per game, and $250 tent/tailgate access. I won't be giving a damn about these games. NFL will eat them alive and the t-shirt fans will abandon them. The students will see the hypocrisy and just follow their favorite NBA, NFL, and MLB teams. Already, nobody gave a crap about the Playoff Championship game in February. It was a just a college football game, who won?
Meanwhile by 2040, MSU will be playing a purely collegiate league with other purely collegiate teams. We will have to pay $80 to watch all the sports on a streaming network. But will play a cool schedule versus Georgia Tech, Tulane, Rice, Louisville, Ok State, Mizzou, and Vandy. The money players will leave to play professional sports at Alabama or Chicago Bears. Who cares, it will be like players going to the USFL, we forget they even exist after joining the "crimson tide". The miserable guys in Baton Rouge will start watching our games instead of ridiculous (fake students) professional players in "LSU" uniforms play fake students from "Michigan".

I truly hope all of this comes true. I’m ready for college sports to go back to no scholarships just students playing sports
