It's almost over. Just a few more losses and the water toting by a select few won't be enough anymore.

If we come back and win today and tomorrow, tonight does not matter. But, I have a feeling that won?t be the case. It is time for a new regime.

Tis only fitting since MSU athletics has given me heartache all these years.

34 isn't completely wrong, baseball isn't going to be Cohen prioritized anymore. Football is going to get the attention it has to get now, and it's going to be painful for some fans who love baseball. If Lemonis gets cut loose, we'll go get some assistant coach not scared away by our more normalized prioritization of baseball.

If we are just gonna resign to the fact we can?t compete in anything because of money, then I would not fire Lemonis.
What?s the point?
Just let him try to manage the downfall. He?s a solid representative and he at least talks the talk.

But IS football getting the attention it HAS to get now? I highly doubt it. Ole Miss Spends double what we spend to win 9-10 games and sit on the cusp of the playoffs. We are yet to spend enough to average 6-7 wins per year and travel to Memphis or Birmingham or maybe Charlotte or Nashville on a rare occasion. So at the risk of essentially killing baseball, are you okay with the occasional lower level bowl and winning 3 out of 8 or 9 conference games in football each year?

As relevant as college hockey which produces more revenue than baseball the last time I checked. If we don't get football straightened out asap, we will not be included in the coming super conference and will become the next Southern MS and there will be little TV $ or fan interest to fund many sports in a nothing conference as OM soars higher.

If we turn into southern, pack it up. No need to even wear the gear.

We spent big and had a strong recruiting class and really good portal class but we shall see. Lebby knows how to manage the portal. We barely had G5 talent last year and didn't even have enough of a roster to run practice like it should be.

Last night did matter as we played a team with less SEC wins than us and got run ruled at home. Someone posted that Lemonis now has a .333 winning % in SEC games since he won the NC with some Alpha Dogs from about 4 previous HC's recruiting. If most people were only successful 33% of the time in their jobs after a great year for the next 3 1/2 years, I doubt they they would still have that job, much less be paid millions.

Ole Miss also has way better coaching than we do. They hire guys with P4 head coaching experience while we don't. Kiffin, Beard and Bianco is one of the best trio of coaches in the conference. KIffin and Beard are way more proven at this level than Lebby and Jans. Leach dying and Cohen getting us behind the 8 ball in the initial stages of NIL is a big part of the problem but our coaches always learning on the job is another big part of the problem that OM hasn't had to deal with.

Not just on the job training football head coaches, how about on the job training AD's and even on the job training DC's. What could possibly go wrong?

Some of us need to realize that football pays the bills and keeps us at the trough.
