The band-aid has to come off. I don?t see him pulling the trigger mid-season but he absolutely cannot wait until the end of the season to get this ball rolling.

I've already laid out that this team isn't likely to go to a regional even if they turn it around somewhat.

So let's at least not make it awkward for once by making Gautreau the head coach and have him turn us around into a three seed when the schedule is more favorable.

I've always said that we actually underachieved to a degree in 2021. That team probably should have been 45 win regular season good with a SEC title.

Remember in 2021 State was being No-hit for almost 7 innings against Virginia and then our Alpha Dogs got us going. We had some head -scratching losses in 2021 too! We just had 4 Alpha Dogs who put that team on their back and the role players had an amazing run. I'm sorry. I have just never felt like Lemonis coached that team to a championship! I believe 2022-23 was the Real Lemonis led coaching staff!

This. Remember the SEC Tourney. We got Blanked. Got ND and they even admitted that the LFL just intimidated the crap out of them, Evertt must've not been there that day. Bednar and Sims won that series. That postseason Arky, the favorite, just imploded their pitching in the regionals and NCState didn't even show up. But Bednar and Sims show get a statute outside of the stadium.
