Saw It First Hand at KY Game (Sit Down, I Can't See!)

Son and I often join my friend in his very good seats in the lower bowl for basketball games. Woman sitting beside me, an older "Blue Hair" as some of y'all like to call us "veteran" State fans was excited on her feet on good plays the entire game. The much younger woman behind her was complaining about this to her constantly to sit down as she couldn't see when she stood up. Both paying big $ for these seats. I admit I have asked people to sit down a couple of rows ahead of me at FB games when we were getting stomped, but have changed my attitude. I can lean around them to see or get up and yell more myself! Both women true State fans and into the game. Thought I was going to have to break up a fight before end of game.***

Nah. 3rd and 57 up by 29 with 10 minutes to go - I'm standing. Yell for them to step on their throat. No mercy.

I don’t have problem standing cheering madly. I don’t care if you are directly in front of me. I usually can see around the people standing or I stand up. My thought is at least they are really trying to energize our team and give a home advantage. What I despise is the people that sit the whole game and never cheer or show any energy or act like they are in church pew. I am truly a blue/white hair fan and being going to games for 40yrs+. I don’t get up and down as good as use to. Arthritis and a knee replacement. But still get up and give em he&&.

Like the distinguished older gentlemen who sit down and immediately cross their legs and feel infringed upon when you try to get past them to your seat and they only get up to go to the bathroom.

I’m old (65) but haven’t grayed yet. The key to this equation is to not just be fans. My son and I are “loons”. As in not just fanatic but as in LUNATIC at games. No one says a word to us. They are afraid.

I like watching the games from my seat. The one in my living room.
