I must be the lone wolf because I believe that winning your conference means something. Florida State absolutely got robbed last year.

They got beat 66-3 by UGA. Even getting some of their opt outs back, they could not have crossed the 50 against Michigan. They were a house of cards being held up by a really good QB and a great defense.

Football is about winning and that?s what they did all year long and should have gotten in.

Well they did not and Bama/Michigan was more entertaining. And as much as some do not want to admit it, that matters. No one wanted to see Florida St gain 14 yds of offense and get blown out by 50 in the Rose Bowl.

They got screwed by TCU embarrassing themselves in the championship year before. Committee wasn?t gonna let it happen again

Correct. That TCU team played the game of their lives, and still had to have Michigan’s help to win. They came back to Earth against UGA. Committee could not risk 65-7 happening again….and trust me….it would have.

    Announced Visitors for the weekend:

    Darron Reed, DL-Auburn
    Fluff Bothwell, RB-South Al
    Emmanuel Henderson Jr, WR-Bama
    Josh Moton, DB-Marshall
Dwight Lewis, DB-Marian (I think it is in Indiana)

The Lewis kid will probably be brought in to compete for a ROSTER spot in the spring.

And honestly between Michigan St, UCLA, Maryland, and Washington, we probably could have found one more win.
Ugh. Mike Wright might have been the worst QB I have ever seen at MSU since the Croom era

There are a lot of decisions Zach Arnett made that were signs he had no clue what he was doing. Bringing Mike Wright in should have been a nuclear alarm to the fanbase.

The guys they are taking looks like he is gearing up more for 26 than 25. Akin to what he did in 22 when he loaded up for 23.

Ole Miss may end up being better next season. Texas Tech has done well too.

They will not be as good on DL, QB, or WR. Their fans can convince themselves that Simmons is better than Dart but he is not. Maybe he ends up being at that level, but I think they will be portal hunting for 26 QB. Their schedule is not ours but it will definitely be tougher next year. Their home games are USCe, Arkansas, Florida, and LSU. They have to travel to UK, UGA, OU, and us. That looks a lot touchier now than it would have looked in October. I see them between 7-9 wins.

They aren?t doing bad, but I wouldn?t say they are killing it either.

Who have they gotten this year that compares to Nolan or Umanmielen last year? Or Paul? Or even Trey Amos? I think people are seeing these guys HS rankings and thinking they are on that level still. A lot of them are not.

They are going to end up with 4 of Arkansas's best players. A couple of former 5 star recruits. They've upgraded their Oline and RB situation. And they aren't done yet. Currently 2nd ranked portal class in the country. Not sure what you mean.

A lot of smoke that Cam Vaughn, WR from Jax State will be visiting Sunday and he is a priority. He’s a freshman and was CUSA All Freshman.

They are ranked #2 in the portal rankings which does not account for HS rankings, but actual transfer rankings. You can disagree with me but you are disagreeing with a lot of others as well. They are doing a killer job and it?s okay to admit they?re doing way better than we are. That?s how we get better at this, see where we can improve.
