That molasses slow start on offense allowed Skittle Do to do his thing. We have longer drives early and put a TD on the board first and it's a different ball game.

Malik Murphy to Oregon State. That kid should have stayed at Duke.

I truly think Auburn pulled the rug from under him. I think that's where he was going to go and then Arnold committed and Auburn pulled the offer. I had also heard Kentucky was in the running. This could also be a situation where he's committing to have a spot and will open it back up if another team inquires.

LB and Safety are better, the rest isn't really upgraded much if at all

Kentucky took Calzada over him.

They're definitely upgraded. If we had a Jahron Manning, Tony Mitchell, or even a Jayven Williams we are much better in the back end. Now that's not saying much since we were so bad, but we have upgraded. Same thing with DL, the guys we have are upgrades but that's a low bar to set.

Lanier is a Safety, he can't handle CB

I don't understand that one. They took a shorter version of Brock Vandagriff. Calzada is probably a little better, but not much. I still wonder what they're going to do with Vandagriff. I've seen everything from retiring from football to he's ready to compete and win the job next year.

Love those two rooms and the depth. CB, DL, and Edge is where we're about to attack. I won't worry about the offensive side right now. I think Lebby will get some guys there.

Hibbler is an immediate starting DE. Sanders is a better pass rusher than anyone we could put on the field last year. Yes, he's going to be a situational pass rusher, but there is a role for those guys. Particularly when you can reduce Red Hibbler inside on passing downs and put a pass rusher like Sanders out there.

Correct. That is what I was trying to say earlier. Lanier was playing out of position at corner. Never needed to be there.

Agreed. And I do agree we need to attack the DL and DB room. Agree on offense as well. We'll get receivers to come play, even if we have to wait for the spring window.

This is what I would call bad advice from whatever bullsh!t agency he went to that is probably a 22 year old kid that used to be a runner for a sports agency, and now is a full blown "advisor".

His dad is apparently an advisor as well. I do agree that he got bad advice though. I think he tried to shake Duke down and they decided they'd rather have Mensah than be shaken down by Murphy

Do you let someone else have access to your account? I'm genuinely asking. I swear one day it seems you want to burn the whole coaching staff to the ground, the next day or sometimes same day you seem to think we are headed in the right direction and give the coaching staff plenty of credit.
