Ehh kid on his 3rd school in 4 years is going to have a little less of a market than the Freshman who had a breakout season at the G5 level.

Yes. Daniels is staying at Florida as of 7:17 PM CST on December 16, 2024. This is the portal era though. Kid could be in tomorrow at 8 AM.

I'll be curious how much traction he gets this time around as he's not elite and you know he's a one year rental before entering again next year. Might be worth a small overpay to get back in good graces with the handler though since he has a some in-state influence.

That handler hates us. He'll attempt to stick it to us once again. Good news is that he hates OM equally as much.

RB is the position I would spend the least amount of NIL funds in. RB and 2 down run stuffing DL who can?t rush the passer.

I?d spend the most on QB, pass rushers, pass defenders, and pass protectors.

Who is the handler asking for a friend?

Will Seth Davis be back next year? Also, is Xavier Gayten a legitimate SEC back?

Pro game, absolutely. I think RBs are more valuable in college though

I would fight back a bit on that. I do not think you can completely take the NFL approach but our offense is never going to attract a star back because this offense uses at least 2 RBs and sometimes 3.

He already knows where he's going or he wouldn't be moving

I'd offer him to save face. His step Dad can't bitch about us overlooking us if we offer him and he turns us down again.

Maybe if you are Army or Navy.

There aren't very many Adrian Peterson/Derrick Henry type freaks in the football world.

Jackie had the right idea. Have a committee of 2-3 running backs.

3 of the top 10 rushers (jeanty, stattebo, and Sampson) are in the playoffs. Only 1 of the top 10 passers (Gabriel) are in the playoffs.

ETA... now if you wanna use passer rating, 5 of the top 10 passers are in the playoffs. This is why I use passer rating so much despite you guys saying it's dumb to use.

Watching Jordan Dwyer. That guy might put up 1,500 yards with 10+ TDs in Lebby's offense.

That LB/S/WR room should be strong. But until we spend on DL, little will change. We're continuing to just grab low end, injured, and cheap at DL. Edge too but at least those have a heart beat.

I agree. Also, our biggest need is DL and the DT group is really thin in the portal. The ones who can go are being picked over and getting top money everywhere.
