None that I have seen reported. There was an article in The Athletic about him as well, and when he was being recruited out of high school, he took over 50 unofficial visits but only 1 official visit. To Florida State.

His fate unfortunately may have been sealed by the SEC schedulers. To give State or Kentucky or Vandy a schedule for a 2 year home and home like they gave State is sadistic! It should be criminal. Don't we have some Attorneys who can filed an injunction against next years' State schedule? We all know UGA and Alabama would never be schedule to Top 7 SEC teams in back to back seasons!😳😳😳

I agree we definitely need stability. But I just don't see Lebby getting a 3rd year if we suck again next year. I think money folks will pull the trigger. Then we'll start again.

If we can't win at least 1 SEC game and look just as lost on defense with the same DC, I don't see Lebby surviving the outrage from the fan base for a third year. I'm barely hanging on right now and I'm usually Mr. Sunshine around here.

Eli was 10 times the Qb Dart was at Ole Miss. Eli literally called plays, adjustments, pointed out the defense, went through progressions all on each play. Dart gets his plays and audibles from a microphone in his helmet. He's spoon fed every situation. He makes no adjustments and can't read a defense. We literally only took away his deep threat and he almost lost the game. Dart is a gimmick Qb

Yep. One read guy. Usually one side of the field read. Same with corral.
Talented. But not developed. Great numbers in the college game though.

We can get to 6 next year. It will be the same formula as last year. Keep Shapen upright and be just below average on defense. The worry will be can we run the full offense with Shapen. The one game we halfway opened it up he got hurt. I still would swing for a Preston Stone or hell even Maalik Murphy. On defense, we will be better. We just need 1 to 2 war daddies on the DL and I will feel decently confident that we can get to average next year on D.

I would expect that one moves pretty fast IF we are pushing for his commitment. I do not know how hard we are pushing for that though.

Luke Altmyer completed 61% of his passes for 2543 yards with 21 TDS against only 5 interceptions. He was sacked 31 times but he also ran for 4 TDS including a long of 37 yards.
Counting his 31 sacks, he is credited with 96 total carries for over 240 positive yards.
And oh yeah, his team is ranked 22 with a 9-3 record. So missing on QBs does happen and that one was in our backyard but didn't fit our offense at the time.

What about my comments is the worst from me?

Literally we aren't showing any reason to think we'll improve. Most of us assume we're going to be underdogs in 9/12 games next year. Add to it that NIU beat a playoff team this year + USM is about to absorb an entire conf champ, albeit Sun Belt team... and we're losing guys this dude brought in.

Start of the week I was willing to give Lebby a chance. Right now - our two deep looks thinner than a frat boy's wallet after a night at the pony.

Lost our best CB and haven't replaced him, plus need depth there and haven't done squat. DL recruiting is nonexistent as is Edge. Still looking for top WRs but getting next in line guys so far. OL depth is better but still short on talent, no SEC RB on this roster unless Davis is 100%. Shapen is mediocre at best. I feel great about next season! Because I see people losing their jobs next season that should've lost them this season.

Because it’s clear to anyone that has looked at programs outside of MSU that this is a total train wreck. The only ones that argue differently are mouthpieces for the good ol boy boosters and administration that have perpetuated this problem for years now.

I agree 100%. I hope it plays out like that. Shapen's health has me worried more than anything right now.

I think we chose Sawyer Robertson over him if I remember correctly?

Given our circumstances I would love to have him but I'm sure that's not going to happen.
