I think you two have let your MVB hate twist your minds. LSU wanted MVB as a capable backup in case nuss gets hurt - that's it.... end of story

MVB supposedly demanding a starting job being willing to go sit behind Nuss at LSU makes that whole thing a joke. I would assume we would have given him 350-500K to stay. Probably even more. And MVB should know that the percentage chance of Shapen making it through the season are quite a bit less than Nuss making it.

He has a a fabulous athlete, probably the best athlete I?ve seen in this state since David Fair, but he needs a lot of polish before he is ready to play in the SEC.

I agree we definitely need stability. But I just don't see Lebby getting a 3rd year if we suck again next year. I think money folks will pull the trigger. Then we'll start again.
