This is why Jeff Lebby set out to upgrade over him this offseason. Unlike some of the previous coaches at Mississippi State, Jeff Lebby knows the goal of offense is to score points. He knows that points come through the passing game. He knows that a lot of points were left on the field by MVB last year. Jeff Lebby isn't a coach who is just going to try and get by at the QB position.

But apparently is fine to try and get by with subpar defensive coaches.

Heck in four games he almost had as many TD passes as MVB did and his completion percentage was over 10 points higher alone.

Just watching the two in person it's obvious that Shapen is better right now. Shapen's passes look like a NFL QB's passes.

I think you two have let your MVB hate twist your minds. LSU wanted MVB as a capable backup in case nuss gets hurt - that's it.... end of story

Todd - no offense brother but you haven't been paying attention. Kelly has actually been slow to adapt to NIL and they don't actually have unlimited funds like you seem to believe. They don't need to take MVB to get craver if they really want him. They woulda just cut the much smaller check to craver and save money to use elsewhere.
