I really don't think any of that would have changed a thing. That whole relationship thing was overblown. Kid and his parents were going where they wanted. Money and more tools surround him at Auburn.

We?ve replaced 4 star talent with 3 star talent and missed out on the QB Lebby wanted.

There are only 4 players that left that we need to replace. Already done that with 1. We have upgraded what's left with there replacements already. Get a QB and we are a wash with MVB. But you keep on with looking at the star ratings of those players who couldn't even break into our piss poor lineup.

Apparently Auburn paid him to not visit us.
So...

I’m just being realistic. We always say we are replacing talent with better talent but we end with subpar results and most of the top rated players we are going to sign any moment now go elsewhere. SSDD. And two of those 4 star players you say couldn’t get on the field here have transferred to teams that are playing in bowl games with winning records so let’s not pretend here. The others will probably follow suit.

Right, so when we lost WR last year and you played oh woe is us then too, we replaced them. Now you are complaining about the replacements of the replacements. Our talent will be and already is better. Just need more of them.

We went 2-10. Nobody is irreplaceable on this team. Not a single one.

I agree. I have my doubts a few hundred k changed their mind, unless they are in a rough spot as a family.
2-10 year with an abysmal o line probably did more damage than anything.

So, seems like nothing happened today. Were we expecting that? Maybe all the excitement is tomorrow, but I thought we'd get some good news today

The truth hurts. We have some ?good people? in our program but not good negotiators or good strategist. We have money but are so far behind on recruitment planning and strategy implementation that it?s embarrassing.
I?m afraid there are some good people on this board that mean well but they are being used as mouthpieces without their knowledge. Truth is, we will sign some transfers but it won?t be earth shattering. Hope Lebby can work with it.
Well yea. We are 2-10 and the worst team in P4. Nobody outside of some of our own fans expect us to sign earth shattering elite players.

Can't be a good thing. If we had some guys willing to go public, today was the time after the Arnold news this morning

It's completely disappointing but not completely unexpected.
MSU simply doesn't place enough emphasis on the position.
Who would you like him to have gotten?

He started 8 games in 2023.
The injury thing is way overblown.

Why don?t you two get a blanket and go hide in the bushes outside the Seal Building. You won?t miss the comings and goings and you can say hi to Rosey while hanging out there.

Very clearly Jackson Arnold. It’s all we’ve been told. Enough so that we left MVB walk. Not smart. At all.
