Yea he got there later than expected tonight so everything was pushed. We are hoping to get him tomorrow night but may be pushed to Saturday.

This I agree with. Pay the money now. Raise the money to replace it after you have him. Perception will matter and if perception is that you beat the dirtiest recruiter in the game for a QB, donations will flood in.

Wish I was in position to do so. Not gunna lie, I have enough trouble putting my own kids through school, much less pay people to play football.
