Or that too. I'm sure with Lebby and Hutz being friends there is no need for a public execution.

That's kind of my thinking. I never thought he'd come out yesterday and say, "Yep, Coleman sucks so we're going with Barnes." No matter how much Pizza boy and the high school sports reporter want him to.

I don?t think Lebby will say it because he knows changing play callers isn?t going to change anything results wise. Jeff knows this is a talent issue, and he?s not going to throw his coaches or his players under the bus.

If a buddy of mine got me a $3 million guaranteed job in a position that I had never held, I would still be his friend even with the demotion!***

Rumor was Dan did something similar with Sirmon in 2016.

If the rumors are true that we want to keep Hutzler in some capacity we're not going to try to embarrass him publicly.

No. We tried hiring Chris Peterson. Mullen was down the list.

I don?t know if I buy that Peterson was ever really interested in coming to Starkville. He didn?t want to leave the Pacific Northwest. Part of that was because he has a child who has Autism. If you know anything about children with Autism, changing their routine can have drastic effects on them.

One of our friends has a child who has greatly benefited from the center. One of the parents is a huge Ole Miss fan and he said that he will never say a bad word about State again for what they did for his child.

My girlfriend’s roommate works with the Access program and it’s great to see how much they do to try to get those kids and young adults to have normal, fulfilling lives.

It is amazing to see a kid that was non-verbal and didn't really interact with other kids including his sibling, now actually goes to school and has a best friend.

Our University and our Athletic Dept treats us like the federal government treats American taxpayers.

They take our money and don't give a sheet about what we want, they spend it on BS and laugh in our faces.

His kid fell and hit his head. It was a brain injury that lead to his issues.
From a really good source that I 100% trust, Peterson was very close to coming to State. In the end, it was the brain injury and the treatments for his son that changed his mind.

Regardless, none of that has anything to do with my post. Dan was NOT a lazy hire. Byrne kicked the tires and tried extremely hard before settling on Dan. Byrne was relentless.
