I know the play you're talking about with UGA/Texas. That was a hell of a play design by Schumann/Kirby. They bull rushed Ewers on that one.

The stickers numbering each row in Section 4 and each seat had been so faded for years that you could hardly read them. Sometime since the GA game they put on new stickers, but they mislabeled the rows from the bottom up in the entire section, (Example: If you were on row 20 and looked straight across to the parallel row in Section 5 it was number 21). People were trying to sit in the rows as newly marked or trying to sit in their seats that that they knew were incorrectly numbered. It was a total embarrassing mess. My son and I had give my nephew our two seats and we had moved higher up in 4 with a friend.and two ladies who sit on row 19 were having to use our row 20 seats. I went down after a text from my nephew to help and most everyone was upset. The family of 4 four sitting higher up in front of us was upset as they had driven from Chattanooga for their only game of the year and their chair backs were taken by others in this mess. The usher told me that even the Facilities Mgr had been there to look at the fiasco. MSU sent out an e-mail that night apologizing to every person in Section 4 and said it would be corrected for the Arky game. We don't seem to be sweating many details on or off the field in many ways the last couple of years. Couldn't even number the rows correctly and someone didn't check the project. What a joke!

Yea that's not good. Yet another reason we need to chairback the stadium. Unfortunately due to how it is built and the slope that is not possible. I think we could chairbacks from the 20s on both sides though and be ok.

They do a helluva job with timing on shifts. Nothing special about the blitz but the quick shift just before the snap throws off the offense so often. Just great scouting by them to get timing right week after week
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Yea they shifted split seconds before the snap and then brought the LBers. Texas didn't have any chance on reacting well to it.

yep- no time left to change the protection before the snap at that point and the offense is stuck if they are in the wrong one

MVB is the damn future. You don't want him hurt.

Apparently we did rush 4 on that play. I thought it was 3 too. But we played zone behind it I think.

Chair back every other row in the lower bowl. Can't sell out anyway.

Put a good team on the field and we'll sell out

MVB, nor any other QB currently on our roster, is that type of guy. No QB that Lebby recruits is going to be that type of build. That's what makes Kamario Taylor so unique. Lebby has never had a QB like that. Big body with a huge arm.
Dan's QB's were also constantly injured and beaten up too. Of course, IMO he was running them an extreme amount of times- sometimes upwards of 20 times a game including scrambles, etc. That's no different than a RB carrying the ball 20 times a game and may be worse in that teams get a shot on the QB they know that if they take that guy out it's going to derail the whole offense. See the 2017 Egg Bowl.
Now I don't mind running the QB some- but do it like 3-5 times a game as opposed to 20. Lebby's offense is built much more around the QB throwing the ball first and running as needed as opposed to Dan's which was more about the QB running and throwing it all the time.
You are 100% correct on Kamario. That dude is an absolute freak and having him follow MVB is going to be exciting. That said MVB can and will add more muscle to his frame as he develops and grows as a player. He reminds me a lot of Dillion Gabriel which is maybe an obvious comparison. But I think it fits MVB.

We literally began to have trouble with offensive recruits after we played Toledo because we looked awful against them. MSU absolutely needs to show recruits signs of hope to get them here.
