difference. Bama may lose 2 more games. The reliaquest bowl will be glad to have them. They may not even be a top 20 team.

More than just one man. This is what happens when games are fairly referred.

Saban was an all time great truly elite coach. He could take 4-5 star proms donnas and get the most out of them.

That's a lot harder than people think by the way.

If we have an opening and Saban wants to come here as a retread we better be all over it. He would get our shit straight.

Saban knew that his advantage was gone and didn?t want to get exposed as the cheat he?s always been.

Yeah he was a good coach who could throw his headset down and get his players attention. But dude played with a cheat code on basically his entire tenure at Bama and knew he wouldn?t be able to keep it going now.

Whatever his secret was, no one else has been able to do it before or since

Same as Bear/ Stock the bench with nothing but 5 star talent knowing that they will stay to get their chance. With NIL and Portal that advantage is gone.

Yeah because money in the sport wasn?t like it is now before he got to Bama. I?m curious how much got brushed under the rug for him that wouldn?t have for the MSU?s or OM?s.

No coaches before his tenure had bank rolls like he did to toss at them. ?Employing? recruits families at the university, Dodge Chargers, housing, etc.

He definitely was part of the attraction. Don?t get me wrong. He built something that was attractive to recruits because they want to win and he could push them to be great and be surrounded by top talent.

But he had advantages that no other coaches have had and never will again. So yeah? you?re probably right.

Kalen goes from "better than Nick" after beating UGA, to the worst ever after dropping two games.

Lose another game, which they will, and they'll burn his damn house to ground and kill his family.

no nil retired saban when he realized the playing field was now level. it?s not a coincidence he sucked with dolphins too. equal talent he?s a mediocre coach

This. All these takes about Saban being an average coach are ridiculous. Is he the best X and O guy? Idk probably not. But the head coach has to be more than X and Os. He has to recruit, keep good staff, get the best out of kids, lineup the money guys to all be in sync. It?s not like Alabama was some juggernaut before he got there. No one has been able to replicate the program he built

I agree.... he had to deal with a lot of turnover with other schools constantly raiding his staff. I'm not necessarily a Saban fan but I am a realist and imo he's still the GOAT
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Remember that Saban's first year was 6-6 regular season, and then the dynasty began. And he got beat by Louisiana Tech (or similar) and even Croom. Hard to tell if DeBoer will be another Saban or Bear, or one of the lesser coaches there.

I don't remember what Saban inherited, but DeBoer inherited the best program in the county, unrivaled support and tons of talent.

I figure DeBoer is gone after the 25 season. Losing 3 games a year won't cut it

If he goes 9-4 this year and 9-3 next year, he will be asked to seek other employment in November of 25.
