    Never watched soccer before

But I actually just watched our girls who are ranked #7 in the nation beat #1 Arkansas... It was a good game, really good crowd and really good informative announcers. Sounds like we have a really good coach and the best team we've ever had at State. I'll support any team of ours! Let's go win the Natty!

We just dominated the #1 team in the nation. Good game Bulldogs.

Don’t know what the score was tonight but I heard they’ve only given up 2 goals all year and it was in one game they lost 2-1.

Macey Hodge is a beast. She would make a helluva linebacker (Hyperbole of course). Heck of a story on her returning for this year also.

The Bulldog soccer program has quietly become a force. This team is legit to challenge for a championship. They dominated the game against #1. They will be top 5 next week.

1-0 but we had like 15 shots on goal to their 5. Just a dominating game. Great crowd, it was one of best TV soccer atmosphere's I've seen, granted not been many but you could tell by announcers were blown away as well.

It almost the perfect storm in a way. Because of injuries last year, a lot of players got experience that normally wouldn't have necessarily played. So now this year all the injured players are back (e.g. Ally Perry), then experienced depth from last year, unexpected returners (e.g. Macey Hodge), talented freshmen like Husbands, and an All-SEC Goalkeeper.

This is so difficult for me because with girls sports I can give em or take em. We have a damn good girls soccer team tho apparently - it's ****ing sad you have to turn that into whatever it is for you. Grow up

If that was genuine sarcasm (which I doubt) - my bad. This is coming from someone (me) who to a fault can't will myself into women's sports - but this was kinda cool.

I won't lie I used to be the same way about womens sports but they have grown on me over the years and the girls have gotten alot more athletic. It started with Women's basketball for me.

I see it this way. Women's soccer won't take away from our men's soccer. Women's basketball has taken away attendance from our men's in the past. If our men's team is top notch then I think we're okay. But I do remember when Vic was here the men's games had low attendance. It's just hard to get the students to go to both sets. That being said, I think that if there on par with each other then we'll probably be okay with attendance for the men's. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm glad that our women's teams are doing good especially when it doesn't take away from supporting teams that bring in the big money.
