That will change with no offensive line.

I don't think State can touch Texas's jock washing money.

He wouldn't give us the time of day. The blue bloods will be all over him.

Why would he turn down being a 1st round pick?

I fully expect that we will pursue, and sign, Jackson Arnold out of the portal. He and MVB will compete for the job, maybe along with Shapen, next spring. I honestly suspect Shapen will transfer, or hang it up.
The caveat: MVB absolutely balls out and we upset some teams in the last 8 games.
-
We would be foolish to hitch our wagon to Shapen again. He will get hurt again.
Jackson Arnold looks completely lost. Maybe Lebby can fix that.
I actually liked what I saw from MVB Saturday. He was playing within the offense. Let's see if he can get some quality work in without getting killed this year. I'm sure we will be in the portal regardless.

He's Lebby's boy. I think there's good football in there. I just don't think he and Venables, Littrell, and co. have ever meshed. Lebby is legitimately the only reason that Arnold is at OU in the first place. Like I said, I don't think Arnold would be handed the job. He would have to win it. Both MVB and Arnold are handpicked Lebby QBs. They will battle it out. I do think Arnold would win the job. I think he's a better QB, despite what we've seen in the Littrell system.

I would be very excited to have Arnold for his junior and senior years.

I would as well. And hey, if MVB beats him out, then we have a hell of a QB on our hands. There's a ton of people, and programs, who are still extremely high on Arnold. I know this, none of these problems that he's having popped up until Seth Littrell took over the offense.

When i watch Lebby am i seeing another Joe Moorhead?
with less talent on his squad?
Assuming the rest of this season goes like the 1st four games, dont want to waste another year or two .
maybe we quietly touch base with Kyle Whittingham HC at Utah and make him an offer he cant refuse.....???
