Those people are Louisiana refugees that have discovered Hancock county. It sucks, but it's the reality. I think they have already proclaimed BSL something like Baton Rouge East, or some shit.

Nope back in the 70s and 80s LSU recruited heavily down here. Plus they didn't charge out of state tuition if you were a landowner in LA, thats changed,. BTR is also only 2 hours away, and was known as a party school. USM Gulf Coast was full of LSU party dropouts. Watch out for Arky to start getting alot more Miss kids going there with them charging instate tuition for adjoining states. We have kids down here who are now going there plus Arky is granting Grad school scholarships for them to stay up there. OM is heavily in the ATL. Arky starting to recruit Miss and LSU has always been here on the Coast and the river counties. The only time a kid down here mentions State is if his parents went here.

U of A is no better school than State or Ole Miss unless you're looking for an immediate IN with Wal Mart of JB Hunt. Your last sentence just sounds petty. Check out when State plays at the Shuckers park. Keesler or whatever.

Well I am a Season ticket holder and yes there are more MSU shirts being worn by kids and myself at the games. But I'm talking about juniors /and seniors in HS and what my friends and neighbors kids are saying and offers they are receiving. And I do talk to a number of them when I see them and ask them what they want to study. These kids get on the interwebs and see where they can get the best offers and Arky and Aubbie get mentioned alot. It's just what it is.

I spent 10 years in Long Beach. My father owned Discovery Bay Marina at one point.

parabrave I actually went to school in Jackson Ms but every summer of my life I spent in Pass Christian at my grandmama’s house. The day elementary school was over I’d start bugging my dad to take me to grandmama’s. 208 E. Second St in the Pass. I almost had my dad talked into letting me go to Pass high for my high school.

DownwardDawg I know where that is/was. Spent many a day fishing bayou portage.
