Maybe. But if we let him keep his bucket, there will be quite a few empty buckets in the stands.

I'm all for it. Just hard to do. You heard Todd Walker say how ridiculous it was that he was on the hot seat.

The ACC is way ahead of the SEC. I mean damn, we had to depend on a guy named after Matt Dillon's limping deputy to be our depth, you know your head coach hasn't done crap recruiting!

I am so tired of our teams turning little-known athletes into the next first round draft choice. It's infuriating.

Well. I think State finishes Top 25, but it will be close. I guess a Top 25 these days with 23 losses, with 5 being Quad 4, is a job saving season. Maybe he will come through with a Top 40 Portal for next year. Although I have no idea who would want to play for him!

There's just so much more to be considered, not only with this season but also the previous two.

yeah he says that for MSU, similar how football other SEC teams said we should not fire Croom.
I wonder what Todd said when LSU ran off Maneri

Exactly. Lemonis will have us close but will never get us close to where we were.

It is definitely time to make a coaching change. This team was much better that it had been in previous years in a large part due to the pitching. However, our offensive approach has been awful. We have no 2 strike approach and are just giving up outs without the other team having to make plays. We also lack many power threats besides hunter and Dakota. I do not understand why we aren?t utilizing our speed to get people into scoring position for our power bats to drive in. Also why are jordan and hinds back to back in the lineup I understand protecting them and making sure people pitch to them but they should be hitting with as many on base as possible

so.... a new hitting coach in the same off season we are trying to convince at least 6 position players to transfer here?
Talk about insane.
It is a roster problem and evaluation problem also. Not just "go get a hittn' coach"

Looks like the only regular starter coming back is Brice. He showed improvement also. I don’t see anyone else coming come. Lots of unknowns and filling our roster.

LSU held on to Manieri for quite awhile after he won a NC. Considering we have kicked LSU's ass in baseball the past two seasons I'm not sure why he would want Lemonis to stay?

Not really. If we hire Duke's hitting coach and Austin Peay's guy as a hitting analyst they could bring some players with them.

I'm guessing Powell will be back too. I think he may have to get a waiver though. I just don't see Mershon going that high but maybe I'm wrong. Hines will probably go but his draft stock has gone way down so who knows?

I'm hoping Mershon comes back, also Hines. Powell would be good to come back as well. But we have many holes to fill.

Does anyone know if Dohm reinjured his arm or did we just refuse to use him?

It was a better than average chance that we were not going to use him so he didn?t hurt his draft position. I am sure he had an agreement with coaches on a game by game usage call. You don?t risk a kids future if you know he is leaving. That is one thing I have to give Lemonis is that he does protect his guys injury wise.
