That was pretty pitiful! Can’t hit the ball to produce runs. I’m really tired of this shit show.

Well, it was a nice season especially when compared to the last 2.

St Johns is toast. They have no pitching left. I don't know Dohm's status, but I would start Schuekle and save Auger and Pico for UVA. You don't get extra credit for coming in 2nd. Play to win the regional.

I remind everyone that we had 2 outs and Mershon -our best base stealer- at 1st and we DIDN'T SEND HIM! As a result, he only made it to 3rd on Jordans hit and we needed a 2nd 2 out hit to score. The odds of stealing a base and getting a hit >>>> odds of getting back to back 2 out hits
Just terrible coaching there

Mostly because the offense can't produce in the clutch. 2 out hitting with RISP is almost non-existent. We are the kings of the one run loss. Since the last Missouri game its been 2 to 5 runs every game and that's it. We were very fortunate that 2 runs got us to extras last night. And tonight outside of the 3 run jack from Hines we got nothing except a gift run from a VA on a pickoff.

Larry, seriously
Not the only reason MSU lost but unless you hit as good as Tommy Tanks you can't have a DIII middle infielder
His WAR is probably -5.0

If St. Johns has a guy that can throw it 87 over the plate, they have a chance to shut us down. We have proven over and over to be unable to hit sub 90mph pitching

Exactly. Use our worst pitchers and hope the bats show up

I have to agree we've put ourselves in a position we have to gamble on pitching now might as well do it sooner than later

I can understand not wanting to potentially take the bat out of Jordan?s hands tho if mershon gets thrown out or picked off

True. No clutch hits. And we just can't generate runs. Need Hujsak and Larry to hit for sure. And who knows if Powell could have found a barrel with 3 more AB's.

No doubt we had chances to put it away and didn't

You pitch Pico game 1, Dohm game 2, and you tell Stephen we need 3 innings on Monday and double barrel it with Auger. Our pitching is not as dire as one would think and everyone else, including UVA, is out of pitching. Their bullets are gone.

The absolute worst decision Lemonis could make would be to start Auger tomorrow against St Johns. So that's what I expect.

I have 0 faith our offense will do anything against St. John. We have pissed away too many opportunities and it won?t change tomorrow
