Kudos to Birmingham Southern
Won their Super Regional yesterday and are headed to the D-III CWS. After a third of the team contracted food poisoning Friday night. The entire bullpen got it, closer went to the ER and a couple others ended up in the hospital during the game yesterday. Relief pitchers on IV's during the game. One of the relievers was walking around with a mobile IV and pitched the 7th and 8th innings. Crazy stuff. Oh yeah, and on top of all that the school is closing permanently this week.

Yeah I've been keeping up with them and their story. Just a bunch of kids loving the game and giving their all without big nil deals and now no school to go back too. Hope they win it all!
