I think they have what it takes to win a regional and a super regional. But no chance at winning the CWS. Too much pitching required in Omaha.

Winning a regional would be considered a huge success. Of course it depends on the teams in the regional but I have a hard time seeing it. But you never know....

Maybe. But I think you underestimate how much harder Tony V works at evaluating and recruiting than Lemon does. Lemon and Gaut didn't recruit high school players at all last summer. That's why their roster is so much better than ours.

Freshman dont play in the SEC unless they are Top round guys. Why waste time on HS guys? Steal from other programs

Gautreau's offense is absolutely killing us right now.

I think we could be so much better with a different approach. We need a lot more scrap.

And how many guys have really improved since they have been here at MSU? Not many. Hines and Jordan taking Daddy Hacks all year.

We need to use Campbell's offensive philosophy. Need to grind out AB's and focus on getting on base and causing havoc and then the power will come with it.

They're not that much better than we are. We just don't maximize and develop the talent we actually have on offense. It's not like they blew us out or anything tonight. We lost the game because our second baseman who should be our DH made a poor decision trying to do too much and they stole a cheap run.
