This loss is 100% on Jordan and Hines. Way too many people left on base from their ?selfish? shitty at bats.

Good Job Pulliam putting the barrel on the ball. We cannot have Long in the lineup.
Hines and Jordan need to figure it out.
I don?t get why we won?t let Powell catch and Pulliam DH

Well it was a fun rally.

    I would go:

    1. Chance
    2. Larry
    3. Mershon
    4. Hujsak
    5. Kohler
    6. Pulliam
    7. Hines
    8. Powell
    9. Stevens/Chester

I know we are not going to win and I know we are not going to use this lineup so might as well have some fun with it

Difference between Husack and Chesters ABs compared to DK/ They just went up to get a hit. DK is trying to jack one everytime he is up. The book has been out on him and he hasn't adjusted. He looks like he is swinging a sand wefge instead of a Bat.

I agree with this lineup. 100%. I am not sure Pulliam in the outfield would be the way to go. Don?t we have someone on the bench that can play outfield and let Pulliam play 2nd?

Chester or Stevens can play RF.

Agreed 100%. He did this in the middle of the season too. Then after a really shitty week he started to just get some base hits and magically the next week he hit 3 homers. The dude has all the ability, and we are all pulling for him. He is our guy. But he absolutely needs to listen. Just go up there looking for a ball to get a base hit. I swear to you, swinging for a homer never works. You mechanics are all off and when you pull your head out the only thing you are going to hit is maybe a hard foul ball, but more likely you will swing through it.

Does anyone actually believe we will sit Jordan tomorrow? I hope we do, but I know we won’t. Hines has to play because he has to play 1B

We don't need to win tomorrow. We're gonna wear our pitching out. Just take the ass beating and let's come home

Man, I'd sit both. There's nothing to lose tomorrow. Play people who have never played before. Tell them to have fun. But Hines and DJ need a mental reset before next week. Give them the day off and see what we can do

Good job by our "hitting coach" of sitting on his ass again while our hitters keep making the same damn mistakes.

I'm way more pissed at Gautreau than I am Jordan or Hines. This hands off bullshit doesn't work in college.

If I was Lemonis I would tell Gautreau either I'm coaching Jordan and Hines or you are and if it's me you're gone so the choice is yours.

But yeah- let's drop them in the lineup and bench them like that's going to do any good.

And replace them with what? Other hitters that are going to go 0-4?

    Absolutely stupid.

Moving players down in the lineup and giving them a break has helped hitters since the beginning of time. C'mon man, you're angry, but you're not this unknowledgable

What I'm saying is the issue is by dropping them down or taking them out of the lineup we're putting a band aid on the problem when it looks like we aren't even trying to coach them first.

I want Gautreau to do his ****ing job and tell them to stop trying to be the hero every time and stop overswinging at every thing instead of just sitting his ass there in the dugout and let our players figure everything out on their own.

And if he is telling them that and they aren't listening then that's not good either.

This has been going on literally almost all year!

Like we have discussed before, what has Gotro actually done since he has been here. We have always had games where it looks like Greg Maddux is pitching. Gotro should be in DJs ear right now. Instead he is taking notes. Notes on what??!! Its the end of the season. He isnt coaching shit. Its also Lemonis fault for allowing it to happen this long. There is no reason they should both be in the streaks they are in.

As for tom, you take the ass whooping and you go home and hope you have done enough.. (In my opinion we have. I dont know why D1 and BA has now moved the goal posts for us hosting. Hopefully the committee is smarter than that) Let some of the younger guys get a hack at it. There is no reason Stevens and Pulliam hasnt been getting at bats with what we have had running out there struggling... Sit them down tom and give them a break. I would go...

    Chance LF
    Mersh SS
    Hugesak CF
    Larry 2B
    Kohler 3B
    Stevens DH
    Pulliam RF
    Powell C
    McKenzie 1B

Silent bats and the time of night has something to do with that.
