Again….bench him. He is terrible right now. There is no other way around it.

Judging by Holcombe’s continued spiral, I’m going no.

I doubt we have locked up hosting so I imagine we have to try to win tomorrow. The confidence seems to wane every day.

Go hire a mother17ing hitting coach who can recruit and coach. This is a damn train wreck at the plate. I'm not sure we can win a game in a regional with this shit.

Hines and Dakota have seen this same approach from pitchers this entire season. Dakota actually connected with a few more mistake pitches, but the secret is out. They have massive holes in their swings and every pitcher we are going to see from here on out are good.

I don't think you have to worry about tomorrow. Tennessee will probably hit 8 bombs and run-rule State in 7. The offense except for Mershon , Larry And Hujsak should be very well rested! The rest haven't been on base enough to get tired!

Pico for the win vs UT. Then Stevens vs Vandy. Then bring back Auger for the title vs LSU.

I would go Dohm in there somewhere. But it honestly won’t matter. We won’t make it past tomorrow.

We have been pitching really well in this tourney. We have to be allowing less runs per game than anyone.

That was a hell of an inning for Schuelke. We have not seen that from him in a long time.

Remember the national championship team, those dudes were tough to pitch around. Forsythe was really the only weak link and he even got warm by the end of the season.

We have only allowed 8 the whole tournament. For perspective, LSU and South Carolina allowed 10 and 11 respectively TODAY.

Ok, it?s past TIME to put the rookie from Cal or from Starkville in right field and let DJ sit out at least 2 games. I?m sorry but this is BIG boy baseball and he needs to sit!!
He didn?t get it done again in a HUGE spot with bases loaded in 7th.
WTH is going on with him and Hines?!?
Maybe Hines needs to sit also.
If they don?t figure it out we won?t make it out of the first regional.
I?ve NEVER seen anything like this in my 5+ decades of watching MSU baseball.

If they shift Hines, he better bunt.
