Really? Other than one swing, what did we do? Thank God we had our pitchers best game of his career.

Not sure last nights game is the one I would point at to prove a point about Lemonis?

BUT as someone who has been critical of Lemonis he?s still the head guy meaning I?ll give him his credit for adding a W to his resume. Hope he adds another one tonight

Would love to be wrong in my preseason expectations and watch us host a regional

Last night was not about our hitters or OM's - it was about pitching. And both teams had 2 guys who were flat dealing for 8 innings. That's baseball.
Lemonis did what good managers do and didn't #!@$% with a lightening in a bottle.
    We won.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

If Parker get all the credit and not lemonis, then I guess Foxhall gets all the blame for last year.

Also, can we stop starting these threads? It's as bad as the gloaters who said they knew all along that Arnett's staff sucked and the 2023 results would be worse than Leach's results despite being told otherwise.

In no way though would I want losses in baseball for that purpose. He seemed lazy the 18 months after the title.

Parker is impressive. Thankful for what he has done.

Please selection committee, align us with Kentucky !
Well exactly. There's not one single regular poster on this board that doesn't want us to win and win big. We do however have posters that like to brag when they're right but can't utter mea culpa when they're not. I will readily admit I didn't think this team had it in them to be in a discussion to host. I want this program to win and I want Lemonis to succeed but regardless of the results this season I have my doubts he's our guy for the long haul. Unless he has three or four big time gets out of the portal next year does not look promising. History tells me that's not going to happen. A lot can happen between now and then but if we fall back to '22 and '23 levels wonder how many of his super fans will be here slobbing his knob?

Parker has done an AMAZING job with what he has to work with. Anyone disagreeing with that just has their head stuck up their rear. Parker said what he said about the talent on the pitching staff when he first took the job and MAYBE he actually believed it but that was before he lost Loftin, Simmons and Grant for the year and Dohm for the majority of the year. Interesting thing is that most folks thought we would be bad this season because of what we had on the pitching staff and poor defense. Even the Lemonis naysayers thought our offense would be good with Jordan and Hines returning. In truth, our pitching and defense have been the strength of the team while our offense has underperformed overall. If our offense had lived up to preseason expectations with what our pitching and defense has done we would currently be a national seed no questions asked.

Lemonis can suck it for burning our last challenge over Mershon getting hit by pitch.

    That was really stupid.

My question is, if it had in fact not hit him that was ball 4. So the ball was loose behind the catcher and Chance took off to 3rd. They called it a dead ball because obviously it hit him and make chance go back to 2nd.

If it hadn't hit him and had been overturned would they have awarded 3rd base back to Chance?

If not, what the hell was Lemonis even challenging for?

It is. Way too much juvenile/smartass BS and commentary. Some people's schtick gets old really quickly. And they know who they are.
