Parker and the pitching won tonight.
I am not sure you can praise Lemonis, the former hitting coach himself, for being shutout into the 9th.
We can just celebrate beating the black bears, or whatever their mascot is, and leave it at that for today.

The original post seems counter productive to brag about Lemonis in a 2-1 game, when Parker saved him last night with the development of pitchers.

You know Parker cut in half our ERA with the same staff in just one season.
Are you really posting as if Parker just walked into the same setup as Lemonis in his first season?

Parker has done a good job. Parker also inherited a very talented staff. He even admitted it before the season as I quoted him.
Guys are supposed to get better every year in college. We were going to be better no matter who the PC was because they were a year older. But Parker has def created a better mindset for the staff. He 100% deserves credit for that. He also has 4-5 guys that will drafted- so yeah- talent helps.

I criticized Lemonis myself, but at the same time wanted our CWS champion coach to figure it out.
In no way though would I want losses in baseball for that purpose. He seemed lazy the 18 months after the title.
Parker is impressive. Thankful for what he has done.
Please selection committee, align us with Kentucky !

I'm a MSU fan, winning helps a lot. Maybe this year season helps in portal. I sure hope we host and make some noise.
Btw I would swap 3 and 5 in batting order.
Great or good move with Parker bringing in Davis to face LH hitter last night.
Augar was lights out, glad for his success and great historical win.

Right. Great coaches help but what's the old saying "It all comes down to the jimmys and joes". And yes we do have talent. Parker has lifted that talent up and he's done an amazing job.
