What I think you guys are missing is that our ERA with pitchers is probably a run lower or more with Long behind the plate. That trumps going with the offensive catcher. I wish I could find that somewhere instead of having to go thru every boxscore and doing it myself. You can bet our staff knows those numbers

That was fine before Powell got hot. But now he's 4th on the team in hitting. 108 points higher than Long. I think Purdue and Jerk will be ok.
