The first and last pitch called strikes on Cody brown leading off the ninth were both a foot outside. That's big in a one run game.
Sec umps shrink at lsu and it's not defensible against MSU .

Yeah Butch better not put this game management on his resume .. And since we cant hit might as well go down with your best arms on the mound for the weekend from here on out....

When the announcers question it (as biased for the umps they have been), you know it is really bad.

Agreed. If anything, hopefully this will wake Cohen and Thompson up to who is contributing and who is not. We had that pitcher tonight on the ropes and we let him off the hook several times. We let a struggling hitting team beat us in two games with them scoring 5 runs total. That is just terrible.

Same ump that blew the call last night at first.. The crew chief came in to get Cohen to clam down cause he knew the jackass blew the call. Just like they knew he blew the call last night..

I almost wished he wouldn't have gotten to it because it's a double play if it gets by him. I just really have never seen a play like that. How do you shoot a ball 8-9 feet away from you while exchanging it to your throwing hand? Almost like they cast voodoo or something on us.
Seems like its something like that when we play LSU in ANY sport these days. Don't know what kind of spell those bastards have on us but they sure have one. Never seen anything quite like it.

It would appear its time to give Vickerson a couple days off to clear his head. Armstrong seems to have the best at bats in the lineup. Throw him in at lead off for a couple of games to see what happens. Not sure of the rest of order but I would love to see Cohen shake it up some to just break from our current doldrums we have fallen in. If I had a vote, here is what I would try even if just for one game.
Armstrong
Henderson
Pirtle
Rea
Heck
Bradford
Detz or whoever DHs
Randolph
Britton
