And like I said earlier, this just isn't going to be our night. That would've been our triple if runner not on first

We will be lucky to win one against them down there. I don't expect them to go quietly tomorrow with Mitchell. They play their best against us in every sport.

Like Coach said though, this is great for Woodruff and bodes well for his season. He is dealing it

We're playing them at the worst possible time after getting swept last weekend......

I thought coming into the weekend that we would maybe win one, if we played three. Not sure that's gonna happen.

Well we were highly unlikely to beat LSU with Nola pitching no matter what LSU did last weekend.

We have a bad overall approach at the plate.
    We have to play Britton.

I agree coach. Woody looks like he's got it going. If brown can't throw Sunday save him for southern and use woody friday

I think he stays in the pen, but can be very effective that way if he continues on like he did tonight. Looked good when nothing else went right for us

Let's just hope we can get tomorrow in with no rain delays. We are once again depending on Ross to put us on his back.

I may be standing alone but I think it was smart not to start Ross tonight.

Think about it. We pitched combined well enough to have a chance to win, Unfortunately Nola was lights out. Our hitting never got off the bus, we helped him out by getting behind in the count. I don't think Ross pitching would have changed the outcome of the game. We got a lot of groundballs tonight just couldn't make the plays on them. That's how they bounce. Not hitting the ball, all the strikeouts and back to back triples beat us.

I agree. Keep Ross on Saturday where he's comfy and rested. No need to change that

Oh no, you are right. We leave Ross on Saturday. It was either Fitts, Bracewell, or Woodruff. Hindsight Woodruff woulda been the one, but it wouldn't have mattered. We weren't gonna score on Nola tonight

You know, we could pitch Greg Maddux and it wouldn't matter. If we don't get timely hits, we aren't going to beat anybody.

No Sir- he is the most talented pitcher we have. He is the difference in us making Omaha and us flaming out in a Regional. Throw him backin on Friday's and see if he can do his thing. Preston Brown is a reliever- not Woody
