DBs are being put in bad spots due to covering for long times, being told to give 10 yard cushions, and having safeties cover Nabors. That's not their fault.

Seriously though, the DL is terribly coached. They have ZERO moves. Not a bull rush, swim move, twist, no hands, etc. They just get beat every play.
We've recruited poorly on both lines. A ton of soft OL were signed. Several are gone already. Coaches refuse to put best players on the field too. Bell is better than Cam.

Can't argue this one. Historically Leach wasn't recruiting the top tier folks at either position, other than Crabtree.

He was a do more with less coach, which is also Dan Mullen. We need another one of those now. But I will add ... Mullen made damn sure to get the top Dlinemen in the state.

Losing Wheat and Forbes has hurt us worse than we know.

Will is trash. 1 play doesn't dispell it. He goes to the top of his drop and stands there. He never steps into the pocket which gives any edge rusher an easy sack. Most of the sacks are his fault. He never throws the ball away and always a sitting duck.

It really did. We don't have anybody with instincts in the secondary.

Again, if our only issue was lack of pass rush and a CB getting burned I'd agree.

But we look awful everywhere, and the playcalling makes no sense. We have bigger problems than JUST lack of talent

Until we have someone at the most important position on the field that can be a threat....none of the losses anywhere else on the field matter. It starts and ends with the QB. Yes we have to stop people, but today we could have the 85 Bears D and it wouldn't matter bc our QB is immobile, low confidence, weak arm, and often poor decision making. But it's hard to put it all on him, when a lot of the blame goes on the coaches that keep running him out there to fail

These same coaches put Wright in for sparks when we needed them earlier. I guess making positive plays is no go for this offense.

Idk, they're still more talented. Having a good qb is such an equalizer though. We gotta find a dual guy

Yep. Flip the score. Facing a QB like Will Rogers is a DC's dream. Just stop the run and bring pressure. He isn't escaping, and he won't beat you deep. Worst case scenario you give up an 8 yd comeback route and you tee off again next play

Everyone acting like Arizona's D was soooo much better. Watch. They suck. The season will show it
