    That's just hard to believe. I swear I thought I read somewhere he was having surgery a week or two after the news broke about him being hurt. It's still unbelievable that he is returning this season. We would never be, and have never been in the past, that lucky with an injured ace.

    Elliot is not in good shape. My son talks to lafferty every week and Elliot is not even close to 100%. If he does pitch this season he'll be very limited

    Folks promoting Elliott as anywhere near healthy are just tooting their own horn. There is still a possibility that he doesn't even pitch this season.

    I don't know, but on the radio, Bianco said he threw two complete bullpen sessions last Monday and Thursday with no issues. If he ends up with TJ from a "forearm strain" they have some explaining to do.
