Don't be shocked if Britton gets another shot at SS. If he gets his confidence back while playing third he will most likely have another chance to prove himself at short. His tools are too great to forget about at that spot.
I agree on the talent- but having him at 3B while we have Heck at SS gives us a helluva defensive left side. Pirtle aint bad at 2nd either. Having that kind of defense on the infield is huge in helping your pitchers settle in and be successful.
If it were me- I'd play Britton at 3B full-time and DH Detz. The defense gained trumps the offense gained by playing Detz or Humphries and DH'ing the other.
