Bama lost 2 games in the final seconds. Sure they lost, but they woulda beat tcu by 30.
I've said all along tcu is a complete fraud. I've watched them a lot this season, and they just had every break go their way. 9 wins by less than 10 points... that's not a championship level resume imo.

Yet they took out Michigan. On the field. Bama 100% did not deserve to be in over them.
Bama beat A&M by 4 and OM by 6. Texas by 1. Only teams they beat by 30 were Utah State, UL Monroe, Vandy, and Austin Peay.

Why the **** didn?t you score another touchdown!? That?s what you ask. Give them 24 hours to gloat then back to work like the Jedi master taught him.

This is one reason I will like expanded playoffs. I want the best teams to play for a championship even if they lose a game in the regular season. Bama and Georgia are the best 2 teams, and I understand why they aren't playing in this format, but it doesn't change that they're the best 2 teams. When it expands, it will allow us or someone like us to get our head thumped, but in the end it'll be 2 of the best teams playing for the title

Awesome. Can’t wait for some combo of UGA, Bama, Ohio State, and Clemson every year. Same as it’s been for the last 8 years.
TCU getting destroyed tonight is far more a reflection of UGA being ridiculously loaded than TCU not having deserved to be there.
UGA would have beaten Bama pretty good too. Bama was not the 2nd best team in the country this year.

Was this better? Serous question.

What are you wanting to have happened? Just let Bama play in it because they’re Bama? Not let teams decide it on the field? Name the playoff participants before the year starts?
If you want to argue this playoff wasn’t great, I agree. But it’s partly because there were too MANY teams. UGA and Michigan should have just played to decide it. Because it had to be 4 teams, the right 4 made it.

The more teams you add to the playoff, the more you increase the chances of an undeserving team playing for the title.

I would be just fine with going back to the old days of rose (big 10 vs pac 12), sugar (sec vs someone), orange, and fiesta. Then have the committee do a +1

Me too. Only potential issue there is that there will be years where there is a clear 1 and no team really deserving of playing them. Like this year.
You’d also have more controversy because more teams would feel slighted after a big bowl win.

Thanks! I think I'm done for the year. Strangely enough, the bucks here are shedding. Never heard of it this early. We're trying to kill does and two bucks have been killed that have shed already.

The 12 team playoff will further show that the SEC is far superior to other conferences. There will be 4 to 5 SEC teams make the final 12 each year. I'm not sure ryan day relishes the thought of possibly having to play 2 SEC teams in a row if he is lucky enough to defeat the first one.

The best part of this game was National Anthem. The game itself was a total beatdown. I went to bed at the end of the 3rd quarter there no need in wasting anymore time watching this fiasco. The ratings probably suffered on this one.

I agree. Bama would have destroyed TCU and beaten Michigan for sure. Probably Ohio State too. Not Georgia.
