							New commitment. Jayden Hobson.
OL from Alabama. 6'5, 290 lbs.
Moves pretty well on film. Was a USM commit and has other offers from Mizzou and West Virginia.
I don't hate it.

We need to keep momentum going and close strong.
We lose a bunch on defense, and need to keep adding.

Honestly with the state of college football, NIL and the transfer non sense
High school football recruiting IMO is all but meaningless
Yes we need to close on some guys and have a couple of guys in the boat now we need
But there is no need to even follow it that close anymore
Everyone is a recruit now.. high school and college
Our biggest get last year , was the NIL deal with Wheat to keep him at State

Does he have any more eligibility? Guy was a monster all year. He will end up being a mid round pick that becomes a pro bowler.

Wheat, Watson, Cam Young, Forbes, Crumedy, Charleton and Jalen Green were all great bulldogs.
I wish Crumedy was coming back, but my understanding is he is leaving.
I'm not worried about the secondary, but our front 7 needs an infusion of talent, because I think all of the guys above will make an NFL roster or practice squad.

We beat the NFL that is pretty good. We should use that as a recruiting tool.

Why did he not transfer last year again?

Looks like we're about to flip a great DB recruit. He's one of about 4 good recruits we're still on. Hopefully we get him in the boat.
