Word is that he told them yes and then no. That is why AU is scrambling. They thought they had their coach until Friday night/Saturday morning.
To be fair, if you trust Lane Kiffin, you kind of deserve what you get.
Lane is using the change of heart and his kids as cover for waiting for another shoe to drop. I really think Sexton told him to hold up b/c some other equal or better opportunities were gonna open up.
