Bert's trolling was funny the first few times, but he is like 0/5 on guesses. I vote for a ban once this one is over.

This is strange b/c Tom Green from AL.com was on SEC radio a couple of days ago and never once was Cohen's name mentioned as a candidate much less a front runner. He said they were going after Utah State's AD and he was the front runner. Cohen is their fall back plan. The guys they wanted said no.

I would have been impressed by this if it had been posted yesterday.
The reports of Cohen being done to AU were flying around all day today.
Leach's job has just gotten safer. He isn't "retiring" and leaving 15+ million on the table.

It is odd isn't it. Auburns a mess and the boosters run the program. Good luck with that John

I’d be down with that as well.

I don't understand why leach's job got safer. An AD that didn't hire leach will be here soon. I'm certainly not saying an AD will come in here and fire him, but I can see a new AD wanting his guy

Currie or Benko as AD
And a sneaky pick in Blake Anderson as HC
Blake Anderson is radioactive

Things are hush-hush but could be similar to Petrino

That's quite an assumption. Especially if the coach is doing well. I don't think football coaches and AD's are tied to the hip like MSU fans assume that they are.
Cohen would have kept Dan if Dan wanted to stay for example.

Different sport, but remember that Polk guy in baseball?

If I remember right, we offered to make Dan like the 2nd or 3rd highest paid coach in the division at the time and he still left.
"We will have no problem in handling Kentucky."-Turfdawg67. MSU suffered a 27-17 defeat in 2022 with 225 yards in total offense.

Yep. Mullen was ready to go, plain and simple.

Leach is locked in until 2025

Can be bought out at the snap of a finger, but you're too dumb to know that.

I?m not sure you understand how things really work. Buyouts and negotiation solve a lot of those situations quickly.

Exactly. That's my point. If Cohen "wanted his own guy" he would have just lowballed him or made no offer and just let him walk.
