Someone on staff there told me last year that Smith will be at OM unless he gets a bama offer. Fast forward to two weeks ago he said they really have no idea now because State has made him a huge priority. If signing day were today I would say 60% chance he is in maroon.
I'm being told the bears have cooled on him, which is great news for us. The kid is a difference maker i'm told.
