Tell ya what, they had Armstrong as the pre-game interview. I'm really impressed with that kid. I'm damned excited about him this season.

Now we're at 8-0 and still at it. Dagws!

would be nice to see us to get a shut out too. Need some confidence building for our P's and defense.

It's amazing how much better we are with Heck and Collins/Walker in the lineup instead of Britton/Hann and Randolph. Armstrong is trying real damn hard to add CT to that list as well.

I think holder needs reps and the defense needs to see balls coming off bats with him in the game. going to need that down the stretch.

If it were me, I'd go Cox since he hasn't pitched this weekend. I would also get Holder some work- at the risk of this thread going south in a hurry.

I would guess Holder...just because of the recent past. Quick question, why not Woody? We have a commanding lead, and it's rather low-pressure. Maybe give the kid some some work/confidance, or are we sold on making him a starter?

We have some good depth in the outfield. That's going to give us a lot of flexibility. Randolph is a walk-on, so I don't expect a lot out of him other than being a hard worker and a good teammate.

Because he pitched two games ago and is coming off of an injury. It would be risky in terms of his health to pitch him again today unless we absolutely had to.

Yeah, I forgot about the injury. Good point.

And Butch goes with Vance Tatum to start the 8th. Not a bad choice at all.

Tatum looked real sharp there. Good to see him bounce back after a tough outing last weekend.

All three of our freshmen looked better this weekend than they did last weekend. Very encouraging for us indeed.

We definitely look like we are getting our feet underneath us. Our team is starting to get an identity. We have minimized the number of players that we are "evaluating".
