That's a crazy cycle they seem to be going through. I really hated the A's of the early 70's and I was pulling so hard for the Mets in '73, they let me down. My grandfather was a good friend of Jerry Koosman. They became friends when they both wound up stuck at a small airport during some bad weather and shared their love of flying. They flew together quite a bit after that.
