When is the last time a defending CWS Champion didn't even make a postseason? And if this is the first time, why did we ever think it wouldn't be us. It is soooooo "Mississippi State."
Apathy. Alcohol. Resignation. None of these time honored "painkillers" are having any effect on how much this blows.
I hope Lemon knows he has not "arrived." Last year seems more like lightning in a bottle every inning I watch of this abortion of a season. Although, any championship run is catching lightning in a bottle to some degree of course.
