Hate using him on Fridays. Without a huge rally last week, he'd be 0-3

True but the unforced errors are the irritating part.

This all day.....Leggett has a little more pop but that's about it......

Yep. His role is as a reliever, ideally...it is what it is. He was great in that role last year. It sucks injuries, our lack of depth, and pitcher development have forced us to this.

Yeager with a swinging bunt single.

Yep. That inning was on Johnson. The Walk, HR got it started. But that ball hit to Leggett was scorched as were most balls hit that inning.

Why not move him back to reliever? Use him as needed on weekends. Throw a boom or bust young guy on Friday

I'm down with that. As a starter, he's at best a Saturday guy. He needs our offense to back him, regardless.

Exactly. He?s out there battling the best he can and we don?t even help him with run and defensive support.

I'd take 500 right now and be happy.

Awesome at bats by our offense that inning we really made that pitcher work***

Is it just me or does lemonis look sick? Hes lost a lot of weight and when they showed him on camera he looked pale. Maybe it was just the camera angle.

It's Friday in the SEC, though...you gotta expect to see good pitching and your offense to struggle. Him not able to go deep and burning our pen, however, is the killer. Hopefully, he can go a few more innings without allowing it to get much worse.

We’ve all been tossing this idea around the last few weeks because it has merit. And roughly twenty-five games in, it seems time to trigger it. Burn whomever on Fridays and let’s try to get ours on Saturdays and Sundays. But would the opposing teams just match our rotation and do the same.

There's a Sopranos reference I really want to use in replying to this, but I can't, lol.

Absolutely. But we aren't sniffing .500 in conference play.

Im afraid Saturday and Sunday in Athens was fools gold. As Kentucky did the same thing to their Saturday and Sunday guys.
