Hard to blame, I'm sorry but they should squarely carry the blame. I can live with the fact if we lost with Simmons in the game, but he dealt their lineup easily in the 8th and high probability of winning the game for us in the 9th. This is on Lemon and Foxhall entirely. We lost this game and will most likely lose tomorrow.

If we don?t win this series we are in a big trouble. Tomorrow is a huge game that we must win. I didn?t get to watch but blowing a lead that big is in excusable especially against Tulane. It?s not like this was LSU it?s Tulane

So we lost to Northern Kentucky and blew a 10-2 lead

Have some for me Beardo; gave it up for Lent. Am sure it would lessen the sting about now.

The basketball equivalent is Howland deciding to play Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and two pom-squad girls as his starting 5 in the final 5 minutes of the game**

Well when the pitcher hasn't even shown you he can throw one he might as well take one. Also if he is a good hitter, he can get the job done with swinging at only 2 strikes.

The bad news is that the 2022 team has not yet been passed around the SEC yet. This is the easy part of the schedule. Tomorrow versus some Tulane frat boys is nothing.
If SEC coaches can make it ugly, they will

I don't see us finishing at BEST 5th in the West, likely 6th. We have a ton of guys that simply did not improve any AT ALL from last year.

Not giving up yet, but is this Wes rea's senior year team again?

Yes, agree; you just said it more clearly than I did.

I agree, but based on this game I believe Lemon and Foxhall to trot out Stinnet and Tullar again....

Honestly speaking, I didn't think this team would make the CWS, much less win it. Prior to the year starting I thought this team would be like the 2014 team. Good but not CWS good but your analogy may be more accurate. That '15 team was bad.

I actually see a lot of similarities with that team other than Sims and Preston. I was at the game where we were absolutely shelled by alabama

This one hurt, can't believe I just watched that happen. That was like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Lot of season left but just dang. Smh

Where is the development in our staff? Our arms are the exact same as they were last year...nobody improved

Can we cry about THIS baseball game now?!
Think I’ll pull up the Maine football game. That’ll make me feel better about baseball.

Todd warned us this could happen. I totally did not agree, now he looks correct.
I hope Todd is right about a blister last night. That would be great.

That is what I've been saying since the first weekend of the year. The same can be said for some of our position players too though but it's plain to see with the pitching staff.
