Also, I would like to say that I enjoy it better arguing over Sims coaching 1st base while winning big than arguing over our hitters approach and bad ABs....

We look like a totally different team at the plate this weekend. Whatever buttons the coaches pushed, it ****ing worked. Lets hope it keeps.

Probably not. Like I said on other thread. There will be no statement until they get back to Starkville and examine thoroughly but no major concern at all from the dugout.

No major concern?? Hmm. Not sure who told you that. There's plenty of concern.

I think a combination of 4-5 things.
1. Cold weather
2. Taken opponents litely
3. Early season not in a groove
4. NC hangover
5. Here is one I think is a real factor. Facing these 75mph fastball pitchers can really mess you up. I think we'll bat better once we start seeing 90+ pitchers every weekend.

I agree w/all except no. 1. The old hot / cold weather thing works for or against both teams, not just one or the other.

Just let him pitch on 6 days rest the next two weeks. 6 days is plenty of rest and he's your Friday guy for the UGA series.

Yep. And I appreciate you don't turn one conversation into your whole perception of someone either. For our argument I feel very strongly there's this "the way it's always been done" culture in baseball that is destroying interest in MLB. Mike Trout should be the biggest household name in America and there is bench players in the NBA that more people recognize. Baseball needs personality while eliminating violence. That would solve the waning interest. More kids emulated Gary Sheffield or Vlad Guerrero than Aaron Judge, Pete Alonso, or Mike Trout. That's a problem.

That is why Forsythe is in the game. Cannon.
Still wish he could hit about .250.
