NIT it is!

So as an NIT 2 seed how many home games do we get? Asking for about 300-400 fans.

Our own coach said we have to win the SECT to make in.

May be true, but we sit at #52 with 2 Q1 games to go. Win all 3, and we'll be around #40 imo. I'll be shocked if we win all 3 though

I wonder if NET weights a high Q3 win almost a much as a low Q2 win. Curious bc vandy is right on the line
-
We might beat Vandy today at home but it will unfortunately probably be the last win of the year unless we sneak into the NIT. Our seeding will be too low to win an SEC tournament game on a neutral court. We might be able to beat UGA, Mizzou, Ole Miss, Vandy or aTm on a neutral court but none of the top 8 teams and we will probably be the 9 seed.

Still at #52. Interestingly though, vandy moved up to #75, so we picked up a Q2 win. Our final 2 opponents: auburn #11, at aTm #66. Win these 2 Q1 games, and we make it imo. Much easier said than done.

still easier than winning the SECT. Of course catching AU off a loss is not ideal.

mstate7, you are a glutton for punishment my guy, but I admire the passion. You must be younger than me...I remember when I was able to bounce back like that, now I'm old enough to know what's coming and look the other way lol

I don't expect a good week, but I've suffered through this year this long so I'm holding out hope till the end

Haha fair enough. Hopefully you'll be rewarded

BPI chances:
Auburn - 40%
aTm - 46.6%
Chance of winning both - 18.6%

So you're saying there's a chance, lol. I'm holding out a little hope too but that 18.6% maybe a little high for me, I'm probably at about 5%.

We were done with that ugly South Carolina loss.

Got to beat Auburn to get in. Need that big win we have lacked. So we will have our final answer on this season Wed night
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

Yep. We blew every opportunity in the middle of our SEC schedule. Once we did that we are dead to the committee. They essentially make their mind up and its a huge uphill battle after that. Even if we beat Auburn, we are probably still another big win away from serious consideration.

Yep i agree. You look back and we had so many chances this year to nail this thing down. Blowing the games against uf, alabama hurt bad and could've won at uk and the horrible loss to om. Just so many blown opportunities.

Can I make an early game prediction. We will go 5-6 minutes to open the game and score 2-4 points, falling behind by double digits at half. We will come out 2nd half, close the gap, and take the lead with about 8 minutes remaining. We will again go on a scoring famine, and lose by 6.
