Vaccines do not guarantee you will not go to the hospital, but it does lessen the levels of response your immune system has to engage to defeat it. Cytostorms and the damage they cause to both your immune system and your own healthy cells is an issue that is avoided with vaccines.
Boosters, help recharge your response over time due to waining protection.
I have no idea how people have become entrenched in their hesitation to a simple vaccine that has been given 8.66 billion times, but damn people. Your choice does not have to define you forever. These are simple, simple, simple medical facts. The anecdotal stories about bullshit reactions and whatever are statistically irrelevant compared to the reality that this virus can kill you at a much higher statistical rate. It is very simple math here.
Maybe people have decided that they have made a decision and come hell or high water, they are right regardless of the mountain of evidence to the contrary. I think this has become about a person's identification they have chosen.
Like I said, my 8 year old gets it. My 95 year old grandma gets it. Everyone else, it worries me.
Great podcast here: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/202...-vaccinations/
Part of the story is why are all western govts only allowing an EUA vaccine as the acceptable approach
